Northeast Tuna Chunking Rod

Built for Yellowfin & Light Bluefin

Purpose-built for northeast chunking, this rod is the go-to choice when yellowfin and light bluefin are on the chew. Available in 5'8" and 6' lengths, rated 20-40lb or 30-50lb to match the fish you're targeting — the 20-40 is a perfect fit for fish up to 150lbs.

Action

A moderate-fast action gives this rod a soft upper third for working baits naturally and absorbing headshakes, then it shuts off into serious lifting power through the mid and lower sections when it's time to turn a fish.
